Ask each installer to list foam type (open/closed cell), brand, thickness, and resulting R-value on the quote.
Ask whether removal of old insulation and any required ignition/thermal barrier coating is included.
Ask about manufacturer or SPFA professional certification and proof of insurance.
The federal 25C tax credit does not apply to insulation installed after Dec 31, 2025. Check your state and utility rebates instead.
